Dear Conway Voters,
As we approach the upcoming election, I want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of civil workers in our community. These individuals work to ensure that our city runs smoothly and that we have access to the services we need to thrive.
The City of Conway is known for its excellence in service, particularly in areas such as law enforcement, fire protection, waste and water management, planning and zoning, recreational facilities, street lighting, parks and recreation, and so much more. We owe a debt of gratitude to the civil workers who make all of this possible.
As a candidate for office, I am proud to say that I have an excellent working relationship with Conway's city administrators. I have worked closely with planning staff, parks and recreation, and Stormwater staff, as well as the current council and Mayor. I understand the importance of supporting these civil employees and ensuring that they have the resources they need to continue providing quality services to our community.
Here are three specific examples of how I plan to support civil workers:
1. Increase funding for training and professional development opportunities so that civil workers can continue to grow and improve their skills.
2. Advocate for fair compensation and benefits for civil workers so that they can feel valued and respected for the important work they do.
3. Work to create a positive and supportive work environment for civil workers so that they can feel motivated and inspired to do their best work.
Civil servants are the people who come in after the parade is over and clean up the mess. Let's not forget the crucial role that civil workers play in keeping our city running smoothly. I urge you to join me in supporting these hardworking individuals and ensuring that they have the resources they need to continue providing excellent service to our community by voting for me on June 13th. Thank you for your consideration.
Leading with Love and Loyalty,
April O’Leary
